Picholine Olive Oil

The most common olive variety of the Provence region of France. A late harvest olive, which ripens when other varietals are all picked and pressed. Picholine olive oils are known to have a unique aroma of red fruits. Notes: very well balanced, with fruit tones and spiciness to offer a sweet and green leaf flavor.

Great fruit forward with full-flavor finish. Great with salads. Good as a dipper in tomato and heavier bodied sauces. Pairs well with Pomegranate or Traditional 18-Year Aged vinegars. Drizzle over vegetables or use mixed with any aged Balsamic for a salad dressing.
